Biography: A professional oral storyteller for over a decade, Seana Kozar worked as a video editor and has been a full-time filmmaker since 2002. Her first work, Almost Normal: Stories From the Well Within (2003) about women with invisible disabilities, combined video, experimental animation and oral storytelling and was broadcast in Canada in 2004. She screened her first stop motion animation in 2005. Her formal training is in folklore, social science research and education. Her artistic practice focuses on the combination of digital and handcrafted animation techniques to tell true and truly fantastic stories.

Guang is a story about two brothers. The elder brother, Wen Guang is Autistic. Wen Guang is often misunderstood. Above all, he suffers from attention deficiency disorder, struggles with social interaction, and has difficulty performing day to day obligations. He also has a secret passion. To make ends meet, Wen Guang is coerced by his younger brother into looking for a job to share his burden on meeting their monthly expenses. Throughout the film we see Wen Guang searching for a job, his daily routines and his secret passion as he searches for the final glass that will bring him a simple, pure, hard earned, fleeting moment of joy.

Biography: I was born on 16th May 1987 in Trebic, Czech Republic. Since my childhood I have lived in Namest nad Oslavou, now my second home is Zlin. After graduation of Grammar school in Zastavka u Brna in 2006 I was admitted at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin. Since September 2006 I have studied animation there and have made some animation films using mostly computer 2D animation. In 2010, I participated in Erasmus internship abroad programme at Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey, at The Department of Plastic Arts, where I devote to painting. I graduated Tomas Bata University in 2011 and have continued doctoral studies at the same University. Biography: Moving image artist Max Hattler studied at Goldsmiths and the Royal College of Art in London. Biography: Erik works as an animator and filmmaker. He debuted as an illustrator and a cartoonist in his teens and shortly thereafter got his first commercial work. Since turning his attention to filmmaking, he has written, directed, produced and animated six short films that have all garnered widespread international acclaim and distribution. He has been picked twice for competition at the Cannes Film Festival; with Spegelbarn, nominated for a Golden Palm in the official short film section in 2007 and Maste, one of seven competing short films in The Critics' Week in 2003. In 2009 he directed his first live action film when the acted part of Out of Erasers was shot. It took one year of post-production work with animation, sound, and effects, to complete the film.

Biography: Thi-von Muong-Hane Born in the South of France, Thi-Von Muong-Hane has always been in close relationship with her Lao roots. Her educational background is Contemporary Art History, but indeed she has been writing all sorts of stories ever since she is very young. In Laos since 2008, she has been working on videos: animation movies, experimental video, short fictions… Thi-Von Muong-Hane is the scenario writer of Morning Song Production, and its Directors’ team leader. The first short movie, called Morning songs itself, was granted the 3rd Price and the Public Special Price at the 2009 edition of Vientianale (Laos). It was also screened in Singapore & in France in 2010, as well as in Vienna (Austria), Albania and United States in 2011. So Long Island is another animation movie, that was previewed at the second edition of the Vientianale (2011) and also selected in international film festivals. Recently, Thi-Von Muong-Hane has finalized a dancing experimental video co-directed with Singaporian Guna Subramamian.
